There’s nothing more rewarding than hosting guests who choose to return. This blog shares the story of a wonderful group who first toured with My Coonawarra Wine Tours in July 2023 and came back to experience another unforgettable full-day journey through Coonawarra.

A Warm Welcome Back to Coonawarra

There is something incredibly special about welcoming back returning guests — and this week was exactly that. In July 2023, this lovely group joined us for a full-day experience exploring the heart of Coonawarra with My Coonawarra Wine Tours. They were looking for more than just wine tasting, they wanted connection, local stories, great food, and a relaxed day discovering what makes our region so unique.

Fast forward to 2026… and they’re back and that means everything to us.

Why They Returned

When guests choose to come back, it tells us we delivered what we promise, an authentic, personalised experience. Coonawarra is famous for its rich terra rossa soil and world-class Cabernet Sauvignon, but what truly makes a tour memorable is how the day feels.

This time around, we tailored another full-day journey designed around their preferences — revisiting favourite cellar doors while also introducing a few new experiences to keep things fresh and exciting.

The Beauty of Coonawarra in Every Season

One of the wonderful things about our region is how it transforms throughout the year. While their first visit was in the cooler winter months, this return trip showcased a different side of Coonawarra, vibrant vineyard views, golden light across the vines, and that unmistakable Limestone Coast charm. No two tours are ever the same and that’s exactly how we like it.
